Colaba Causeway

Colaba Causeway, officially known as Shahid Bhagat Singh Road, is a commercial street, and a major causeway or land link between Colaba and the Old Woman’s Island in the city of Mumbai, India. It lies close to the Fort area.

Bandra – Worli Sea link

Officially known as Rajiv Gandhi Sea Link, Bandra Worli Sea Link is an eight-lane cable-stayed bridge that links the regions of Bandra and Worli. It has pre-stressed concrete-steel viaducts on either side, which provide strength to it. The bridge is proposed to link the western suburbs of Mumbai with Nariman Point, the main business centre. This magnificent bridge was built by Hindustan Construction Company on the orders of Maharashtra State Road Development Corporation (MSRDC). It was opened for public in June 2009 and since then has tremendously reduced the travel  time between Bandra and Worli.

Juhu Beach

Probably one of the most visited places in Mumbai, Juhu Beach is situated in Ville Parle. Juhu Beach comes to life mostly in the evening, when people from all walks of life visit here to enjoy  sunset, play in the water and treat their taste buds with street food like Bhel Puri and Pav Bhaji.

Kala Ghoda Fort

Kala Ghoda is one of the area’s most fascinating neighborhoods and is known as the art district of South Mumbai, where art galleries, museums, educational centers and cinemas are clustered together. Translating as ‘the black horse’, Kala Ghoda is named after the black stone statue of King Edward VII mounted on a horse which is a focal point of the area. Kala Ghoda area is an abode for art lovers, and is one of the most artistic and culturally rich place in Colaba. Every year the Kala Ghoda Art Festival takes place for nine days, celebrating and encouraging artists and artisans and providing them with a grand platform. Kala Ghoda festival attracts a million visitors from across all over India and the world.
