Citizen Services:--> How to Obtain Senior Citizen Certificate

  1. Introduction : This Identity Card is issued to those, who are above 65 years of age, for getting the concession in fare for travelling in State Transport buses and Railways.

  2. Under What Act/Rules/Govt. orders the Certificate is issued : Govt. of Maharashtra Housing Dept. , Mantralaya, Mumbai letter No.STC/1995/2039/Pahi.I dt. 21.12.95
  3. Whom to apply : Single Window, Collector of Mumbai City, Old Custom House, Shahid Bhagatsingh Marg, Fort, Mumbai 400 001.
  4. How to apply :Application to be made in the prescribed form Affix Court Fee Stamp of Rs.5/- on the application
  5. What documents to attach :
    • Two copies of recent photograph (passport size)
    • School leaving certificate/birth certificate/doctor's certificate of an Govt./Semi Govt. Hospital
  6. Where to submit the Application - Single window, Ground floor, Old Custom House
  7. Time limit within which the certificate will be delivered - 7 days
  8. Complaint Redressal authority - Resident Dy.Collector/Collector office Mumbai City
